For a quick test, try setting a simpler system, like a PC game, to bypass the launcher entirely. You can set the directly to the game's .exe file and change the execution method to 'Normal'. If the game launches, you know HyperSpin itself is working, and the problem is isolated to the RocketLauncher configuration.
: In the same tab, ensure the Default Front End Path points to your HyperSpin.exe .
Sometimes the issue isn't that the file is missing, but that Windows is preventing HyperSpin from reading it due to permission restrictions.
The first place to look is , the configuration hub for HyperSpin. Open HyperHQ.exe in your HyperSpin root folder. Navigate to the Main Settings tab. Click on the External Launchers sub-tab.
If Hyperspin is installed in Program Files , Windows security might block it from "seeing" the launcher script.
HyperSpin relies entirely on explicitly hardcoded directory structures. If you moved your arcade setup to a new drive letter, or if you are using a pre-configured drive build, these paths are likely broken.
The backend does not recognize HyperSpin as its active frontend controller.
